The comic book places the reader as the protagonist. Stranded alone in a desert wilderness, the protagonist must search for their friends after becoming separated. Unsure why they were separated in the first place, the protagonist follows a series of clues left behind from each member of the friendship group.
The clues presented to the reader relate to how the protagonist has treated each member of the group in the past. With the help of a virtual hero (a special character that provides ‘hints and tips’ to the reader in each scenario) the protagonist must use this as a hint to talk to others in an effort to find where that friend might be.
